Olympic Mousetrap

Our car's name is Eat My Dust!

This was before it was done.

This is how it looks now. We did this mousetrap with two big wheels and one small. Also we used 1 long yellow sticks and 2 long red sticks in the front. And also we use another small wheel in the front. And lastly we used 6 orange holders the holed the other parts. We did this because we like making cars and other things.

We added two long red sticks and one small wheel in the front because the weight would be low so it would go fast. Also the air is pushing the car but the car is not that heavy so it goes fast. We made it lean so at the beginning there is a simple machine which is the inclined plane so at the beginning it would pick up some speed. Gravity is a  non contact force that made us change the car a little it was heavy but we made it a little bit light so gravity would not be pulling on it. When we did the test our car went 254cm. That is as far as a car could go. Seriously! I think that in the Olympic day we will win in 1st second or third place, because it goes fast because there is not that much weight in it.

It actually went better than we hoped we kept doubting our self during every ones performance but we made more than we have ever done. Every time somebody went we felt very scared that one of them would beat us. We were lucky to get third place because every ones car rolled was so close to ours.
